West State Park

West State Street Park is located at the end of West State Street. The park is home to several baseball fields, a restroom facility, a small playground and two shelter houses. These shelter houses are available for reservation for your events at $30 per day and includes all day access (8am - 8pm). To reserve this shelter, please call 740-592-3325, stop by the Athens Community Center or you may reserve online here.

Shelter #1 is located along the first parking area to the right as you enter the West State Street Park.  (see diagram) This shelter offers 8 tables, 1 grill, and has power and lights. 

Shelter #2 is located along the loop near Wrigley field. (see diagram) This shelter offers 8 tables, 1 grill, and has power and lights. 

Restroom facilities are closed at the park from late October through March.
